Rule 7
Duties of Grain Checkers
The work duties of Grain Checkers will be as follows:-
(a) If it is suspected that grain material has been produced or stored or sold, distributed or transported in violation of the Act or this regulation, or if it is suspected that such a thing is about to be done, take a sample of such grain material and immediately send it to a public analyst for analysis or testing,
(b) According to Clause (a) taking a sample of the grain material and giving it to the owner of the grain material in the format as per schedule-2,
(c) If information is received that any person, firm or organization has taken any action in violation of the Act or this regulation, to investigate the same,
(d) To keep a record of the grain material inspected by him and action taken or confiscated in accordance with the Act or this regulation,
(e) Under the general control of the local authorities, perform the duties assigned to them and assigned to them in accordance with the Act and these regulations.
